My name is Mitchell Ford and I am from Baltimore, Maryland. Currently,
I am studying geography at UMBC with the aspiration to eventually become a
landscape architect and urban planner. I view home as a place where I feel
comfortable amongst my surroundings.
Specifically, this includes not only the geography of where I am, but also the individuals around me. Primarily, my
family’s house in nearby Elkridge is where I call home. In addition, I view the
concept of home beyond the traditional definition of a dwelling, but rather as
our identity that we develop with the geography around us.
